One of our greatest discoveries has to be XFOOD on the outskirts of San Vito dei Normanni. A restaurant and a social enterprise it punches well above its weight. Seasonal, local food, an attractive dining space at very reasonable prices.

The social enterprise element is simply incidental and while it would be a reason to support the restaurant, that is not what brings us back with friends and visitors. What does is the quality of the food, the pleasant and friendly service and the value. The incredible value.
This Easter they have two fixed menu events. Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.
We are here on Easter Sunday. The menu includes each dish - risotto and pasta - rather than an either or. Table wine and water is included - all for €40 per person.
All dishes on the menu are included, bringing a big smile to our collective faces, avoiding an otherwise impossible choice. That’s three starters, two primi before the main dish of lamb, or course, followed by desert and coffee.
All for €40 with wine included (including refills).
Even the table decorations are edible.
Lunch comes with the added joy that second helpings are encouraged. When it comes to orecchiette we can never say no.
