The Puglia Guys write the Big Gay Guide to Puglia, the most comprehensive English language online travel guide to Puglia. Intended for international visitors (although domestic travelers source information from it) our website is inclusive and designed to assist all visitors planning a vacation in Puglia. The exception is our gay Puglia guides section, providing information of particular interest to LGBTQIA+ travelers.
As well as writing guides we review restaurants, accommodation and other tourist services. We pay for all meals, hospitality and accommodation so we can give unbiased reviews, and usually review anonymously. Our ‘What’s On’ section, a curated calendar of Puglia’s LGBTQIA+ cultural and other selected events, provides an additional resource.
We also create content for international lifestyle and travel magazines about Puglia as an inclusive destination. We have recently contributed to the Puglia section for a new edition of the Rough Guides Guide to LGBT+ Europe (scheduled for publication in September 2023) and have just filmed the Puglia episode of a new BBC TV travelogue series ‘Clive Myrie’s Italian Roadtrip’ which explores how Puglia became Italy’s ‘LGBTQ+ capital’ (due for transmission in the UK on BBC2 in Spring 2023).
