Puglia stretches over some 400km from the northern most point to its southern tip. Our favourite road trip – from Otranto to Santa Maria di Leuca along the Adriatic coastal route takes – just over an hour, plus stopping off time. We also enjoy driving from Bari to Vieste, following the coast to Gargano. That takes almost two and a half hours. Connecting the dots between Bari and Otranto takes two and a quarter hours.
