As of the week ending 14 May 35.4% of Italy’s adult population (over 16) have received at least one vaccination shot.
Puglia will continue in the yellow zone, for a second week, although the region is low on vaccine which is expected to be the case until 19 May, although another 800,000 doses are promised by June 4.
The number of current positive cases in Puglia fell below 40,000 yesterday (39,241), with 591 new cases diagnosed.
